Simulations are an effective way for students to practice navigating patient encounters as health care providers. Clinical Simulations for the Athletic Trainer is a one-of-a-kind resource for students to learn the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to be a successful clinician. Postsimulation activities often incorporate a specific reflection that is intended to prime students for a group debriefing discussion. The activities are listed within the ebook and are also included online through HKPropel as downloadable files that can be completed and submitted.
To test the student's foundational knowledge, each simulation comes with assignable quizzes. These quizzes reinforce the clinical, anatomical, and pathological knowledge necessary to perform well as an athletic trainer.
